Joseph A. Specter attended college at the University of Missouri - Columbia where he received a degree in Business. He graduated from Drake Law School in 2011. While at Drake, he worked in the Neal & Bea Smith Legal Clinic providing representation to low income clients. Subsequent to his experience at the Legal Clinic, he spent time working at the Public Defender’s Office in St. Louis County where he furthered his knowledge and experience as an attorney. Joe then went on to open his own firm.

Since starting his own firm, Joe has been heavily invested in helping his client’s achieve their goals. He has focused primarily on Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Modifications, and Paternity cases, in addition to Car Accidents. Joe gets great satisfaction in providing his clients with the time and attention they deserve in order to make a complicated and often intimidating process more accessible.

Joseph A. Specter was born and raised in St. Louis. He is one of six children. When he is not fighting for his clients he enjoys traveling, attending concerts, NBA basketball, and spending time with his family.
